There has been peace in the middle east way before the western cultures started meddling. There has also been many conflicts in the middle east before the western intervention. But same can be said about any region in the world. Name a region and i will bring you a long list of conflicts. Its such a backward argument to say that because there were conflicts before, we should let a powerful state ethically cleanse a race. It already happened once during the Holocaust. The world doesnt need another one.
But if you know your history and geo-politics, you will know that the west has done everything from overthrowing democratically elected governments to waged wars and coups in almost all middle eastern countries in the last 6 decades. So to excuse west from all its meddling and simplfying the issue by saying, well there was never peace so let Israel keep killing Palestinians, is neither valid nor human IMO.

On a separate but related note, im neither Arab, nor Muslim. In fact if you look into my history, i have every reason to dislike Muslims and Arabs but the issue of Palestine is a different one.

i can vouch for ash.. he is an honest critic who bases his view on tangible evidence, instead of emotional excuses... yes i am a muslim and a strong believer in democracy.. just not the type of democracy where only my puppet wins.


for the record. the british declared gandhi(non violence) a terrorist for the same reasons.. he resisted occupation.. along with bhagat singh(freedom by force), shubhash chandra bose(freedom by force)..etc

also in 2002 israel was offered peace by 57 muslim majority nations including the arab nations.. if it respected the UN demanded 1967 borders.... we are still waiting on a response since US does not put any pressure on Israel.. if they were neutral they wouldn't fund either side or fund both sides.. provide hamas with guided munitions as they do to israel and then say they are intentionally attacking civilians...shooting literally hundreds of children in the middle of the forehead and calling it accidental fire/ in defense of israel.. thats ethnic cleansing...either the bullets come from US or the money for the bullets comes from US... hence the starting point of this being US embassy my guess..

Once again, this forum is for raising awareness of the stated *EVENT* and NOT political discussions leading to a contensious atmosphere. The ONLY people who will benefit from the closure of this thread are the ones spewing hatered.
If you wish to ride, please RSVP at the facebook page. If you dont use fb, IM me for more info. I know its easier said than done, but please refrain from responding logically or otherwise to bigot comments here whose sole purpose is to shut this thread down.

Suicide bombings are ok ?


There is more people killed weekly by Muslim on Muslim violence . Than by western interference . Just read the papers or watch the news . Or is that all lies too ?

Sadly for us, for the most part, it is. If you're getting all of your information from mainstream news then don't consider yourself informed. I'm not in any way a specialist on the subject, but I know when I'm only being told one side of a story.
For me I'm gonna make it simple. Black and white. Right and wrong.

If I can get out of a family engagement, I'll be there.

shi`ite on Sunnis daily violence . Or just the Israel`s retaliation again Palestine .

Like protesting in front of a government consulate is really gonna change anything. I take neither side in the conflict but what else is new in the middle east same old same old. Maybe if this was a Canadian problem protesting might do some good but for me a big waste of time and effort.
