Shoei GT_AIR different versions

Does anyone know what the different versions of the shoei GT_AIR helmet mean etc..

I can see just gtair/wanderer/journey/tc1 to 6.

Are these names for just different patterns or they are different helmets.

The reason being the cost is different for each one of them.

Differing between their abilities for to protect head but same in ability and specification for safety.

LOL - jokes. All the different names (TC-1-6, Journey, etc..) are simply names for the various graphics. Indeed, graphics on a helmet will cost more than a solid, painted colour version.

So why would the price be so different than

Bagman already addressed this. Check out the RF 1200, various Arai helmets etc. Versions with graphics cost more and some of the models with graphics cost more than another model with graphics.

Here is an example with a helmet I really like (and might be my next helmet): The Arai Signet-Q.

Solids are $557.95 at Revzilla.

This graphic is $674.95

This graphic is pretty cool and costs more at $683.95

All of these protect the same and are the same helmet except for finish/graphics. Same for the GT Air. Solids cost less and the graphics cost more. The names just refer to what they have named that style of graphic.
