I assume you just got your license? I say do it now while the training is still fresh and you have the motivation to do it. I've known too many people that have gotten their license and told themselves they'll get a bike next year, rarely happens.

Buy it.

I bought mine in august. Rode until mid December. I usually stop when I cant bare the pain in my hands (dont have heated gear or anything).

You still have a lot of time now to ride and remember insurance premiums are worth most in the summer months.

You could buy one in the middle of the winter if you wanted to. I don't get it.

If the roads are dry and clear, I'll ride.
