Hey everyone. I've moved downtown for the next year or so and, once I find a steady gig, I'll be riding again. Seems like it could be helpful to know all of you guys.
I've been riding a Kawasaki S1 for a year or so back home in Caledon, and been dirt biking for years before that. I restored (it's no trailer queen) the Kawi with my dad, who knows a lot more than I do (he raced motocross in the seventies/eighties and was a dairy farmer until last year), but I'm learning quick. I really like old, simple motors. There's a sort of magic in seeing the whole system working.
It's a ***** paying for (and waiting for) parts on such an old machine so I'm leaving it behind rather than try to insure it and keep it running in the city. Everyone always asks me that so there's your answer.
I'm also a writer and try to be a generally useful person.
I guess that's about it, unless anyone's hiring. haha
