Leather repair

Can anyone suggest a place around Toronto that can fix a one piece leather suit.

Thx.

I knew about bickle, but it's quite far. I was hoping there is someone closer to Toronto.

My mom works for a dry cleaner. They have a contact for leather work. I'll give them a try.

NO PLEASE don`t do that. Dry cleaners deal with fashion leather. They have absolutely no clue as to what they are working on.
I have seen repairs come out of dry cleaners done with vinyl. Sure, they can make it look good because that is what they do,,
but it won`t work if you slide your butt down the road. And don`t dry clean it either! Take it to someone that has worked on this stuff.
Better yet,,take it to someone that has slid their butt down the road several times over 200KPH and fixes their own suits. There are a few out there.

It's surprizingly cheap to ship a suit out to bickle.

I am close to Bickle, I work in the yonge and eglinton area, if you drop it off to me at work, I can bring it to bickle at SOAR and then you can pick it up from me downtown again.

I got to get mine fixed up a bit by him as well

Not to Hijack, but does anyone know if IM Leathers is still going?

I know his daughter took it over after Ivan passed, but I haven't heard of anyone getting any work done by them in a while.
Pm the assasin. He has her cell #.

see...there is good on the forum...

Somewhat related question about gear repairs. What about replacing the Velcro on race boots, could any shoe repair do the work or should it be done by someone more specialized?

I think you are wrong, I won't bring anyone their stand to the track because using a Zip tie is too hard ;)

Yeah thanks. Miserable $@!#**@&$* I'm going to look awful funny riding there with a stand duct taped to my rear seat :D

Mine needs no repair, but it could use a good cleaning.....any suggestions ??

Thanks

Thx for all the great responses. The leather specialist my mom knows works on these suits as well. She took it in as it was her day off. I hope it will work out. I will drop a note to say how it worked out when its done.
