Stator cover protection for 2000 Yamaha R1

Hi!

The first time I took out my bike to a track day, I had a low side. The stator cover got scraped. No oil spill, but it got me worried.
Can you recommend protection for the stator cover?
I have frame sliders and I plan to get a clutch slider as well for the other side.

I have always used Woodcraft, replaceable skid plates are great! https://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?search=action&category=OOOJ

I have track tested them and they held up great

This cover from Woodcragft looks great. Except the price. I will need to save for it.
