Just got home from purchasing my first bike, an black sv650s. I cant wait to start riding her. The bike was being sold in Markham and I live in Hamilton. He agreed to ride it to my house sometime this week and I would drive him back home. Super nice guy! I took the MSC in Brampton last week and had a blast. I am so happy right now, I have wanted a bike since I was 16 and am now 23. I know that safety comes first and these machines are just as much fun as they are dangerous. I plan on starting in parking lots and low traffic commercial areas after working hours are over to get used to it. Going from riding a 125 cbr in the safety course to this beauty will be a heavy transition. Anyone in Hamilton want to go for a newbbb friendly ride give me a shout!

Good choice!! Be easy in first and second gear, Suzuki messed around with the timing on those two to help it pass emissions, but the side effect is that throttle response can be a bit jerky when you're learning the bike. I would suggest joining www.svrider.com (tip-search the site via Google, the search function in the site sucks). It's a great bike, be safe and have fun!

Plastics for bikes are always expensive. I've been wanting to put a chin fairing (belly pan) on my 2004 SV since I got it but I can't justify spending $300+ on it.
