A male motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash Thursday night.
It happened on the westbound Highway 401 ramp to Dixon Road at around 9:45 p.m.
It appears the male lost control of the motorcycle, Toronto EMS said.
The ramp is currently closed as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A male motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries on Thursday night after falling off the ramp from Highway 401 to Dixon Road, police say.
The victim is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old.
No other vehicles were involved.
Paramedics tell CityNews the man was critically injured.
