Wish they had better gear for our bike cops. Bike Cop you guys should fight for better uniforms that offer some sort of protection. This is a work place safety issue big time. He would have faired better wearing better gear head to toe.
Not the place to discuss but I mentioned that to a cop who came thru the course. He basically stated that the (lack of) gear is for the officers mobility and they like it that way.
GWR, hope you get back to your family and on twos soon.
I also hope some of the cops who hate riders and have such a strong bias against them see this thread!!!
