June 19th, rider down, Don Mills

Was driving by Shops at Don Mills around 8:35 this morning and saw two bikes down, after seemingly having collided with a car.
Did not see any riders, but there were definitely 2 bikes with some pretty significant front end damage. Looks like the car might have turned left in front of the them because the impact was on the front passenger side of the car. All lanes but one were closed on Don Mills going south and there was a huge traffic jam.
If anyone knows more, please post. Hope the riders make it out of this ok.

I heard someone on a GS500 went down... Not sure if this is the same crash...
Red Honda, Silver? Other bike, couldn't catch the make as i passed through but that bike was down. Honda was standing. White Civic I think with the aforementioned damage to passenger door. Looks like the car was making a left turn into the plaza because it's now on the curb and facing oncoming traffic.

I believe the op was referring to the 1 rider down on DVP itself...
Must've happened just before 8:00am. I got on DVP at Don Mills south ramp, and noticed a news helicopter nearby. A short while later, around 8:15 I finally got to see the accident scene.
It was in the fast lane, right under Millwood bridge. I only saw the rider loaded into the ambulance on a stretcher... I really hope he's gonna make it and get out fine. It was a metallic blue sportbike, looked like a suzuki, but I couldnt see clearly between the fire truck and a merging car. The bike was wiped out - and leaked out onto the parkway. Didn't see any other vehicles directly involved - but again, I wasn't there when it happened. I saw a late model Ford Explorer parked further down on the left shoulder, looks like the witness (they were talking to the cops).
My hopes and prayers are with the rider.

yes, thats what I thought I heard on the radio when they were talking about the DVP backup. Maybe got confusing with this other accident on Don Mills and Lawerence? involving 2 other bikes. Man!I used to commute down the DVP a few years back and usually its slow 40-50km speed at that time of the morning. Hope its not too serious. GWS Rider.

We're currently @ Sunnybrook, just banged up a bit.
Jetta (I think) crossed our Lane to get into the Plaza.
I don't think it's wise to comment on details online, but it clearly was not my fault.

I'm really glad to hear you guys are ok!! I hope you and your buddy recover well. Sunnybrook has some of the best trauma specialists in the city, but of course I hope that neither of you guys need them. And again, thanks for letting us know you guys are alright.

Hey Junior, make sure that you get fully checked out and see your GP when you get the chance. Let me know how Josh is doing when you know. I've been there. Make sure they give you the good drugs. You'll want them tomorrow morning.
I passed the DVP accident this morning and the rider looked to be moving. He was on the ground but moving. Couldn't make out much for the traffic and emergency vehicles blocking. I wish people knew to pull the f___ over for the first responders. Jeez. Drivers in this city are just terrible.
Looked like a blue/white gsxr but hard to be sure.

I agree ... worst lane to be on .. My friend got hit there too as she was going straight SB and a left turning traffic hit her as they were rushing to get into the gas station.
Police are there to harass for the mohawk I wear on my helmet not to go after people/drivers who cut me off and put my life in danger.

When I work around the Don Mills Rd and Overly area, I always see TPS pulling over people that are not suppost to be there. Usually in afternoon traffic and going North bound. I have yet to see someone pulled over in the morning going South bound.
