I've never done the southern part of PA and it was a real treat
#125 and Hershey #322 are a must along with #74 and #4004
Thanks to Mac as I'm sure I stole part of his route.

I was in the Adirondacks Sunday to Tuesday. Now I know why there were so many bikes on hwy 3 leaving Lake Placid on Sunday. I didn't realize Americade was this past week end. I'm glad they finally got some nice weather for the event. I had a great ride except for the black flies. They were ferocious!

Thanks - will stick that into a loop one day. I'm up for another feed at Letchworth State Park ( any excuse will do :D )

Here is a quick review of my trip
PA is a wonderful place to ride and the southern part was new to me.
I just loved it.
the 322 around the Hershey area is a great ride.
I could of rode it all the way to the ocean.
I find there are more tight twisties in PA as appose to NY.
NY defiantly has the bigger hills and there sweepers are nice and smooth and long.
but PA has more roads and all of them are in great shape.
3 roads are in really bad shape in NY
30A - 30 - and 8....I still cant believe I put my bike on these roads.
you could barely walk on them let alone ride
if you want to scrape floor boards then PA is the place.
if you want nice long sweepers then NY
again this is just imo
Biker Breakfast is a really great event.
I'm going to show some groups up here the pics I took and see if we can run such an event like this up in Ontario.
The folks in Ephrata really do a great job running this.
my first trip to Americade and it was pretty good.
I didn't really want to do this event cause I thought you had to pay to go but turns out you don't.
although that $20 parking pass is a bit of joke and a scam....I got one given to me.
There are vendors now up in Warrensburg and they are free.
The ride round the area is great and the people were top notch.
all my accommodations were great and so was the food.
Laconia starts next week and I'm debating on weather to go or not.

What we did about 10 years ago was 11 days-started at Americade, did the New England states in between and headed to Laconia for the second weekend. Was an amazing trip.

Thanks for the pictures as it brought back a lot of memories. I used to go to Americade with my HOG chapter and had a blast. I saw the change from mostly Harleys and Goldwings to a mix of everything over the years participating Americade. Its always a treat to park on the main street watching all kinds of bike go by and taking in the scenary. One day I'll go again.
