Question on new tire psi

I recently bought a new rear tire same size but another brand, would our psi written on our manual be the same, guess would but not certain thanks.
I have not read the sidewall info yet only had a short time..
 
Tire PSI should go by what is asked on the tire and not what is put into the m/c's manual or on the swingarm sticker?..

No the number on the tire is the MAX PSI to be used NOT recommended.
 
use the tire manufacturers recommended psi, the bike came with a particular brand that the psi is correct for not for another tire manufacturer. the psi rating on the sidewall is max psi for the tire, assuming the tire is used to its max working weight, fully laden, requiring the max psi, running the max psi for a solo rider, unladen motorcycle is not recommended. phone/mail the tire manufacturer or supplier for the psi or post the tires and the size here and maybe someone can help you out
