I would advise people not to shop here. I placed an order for some boots, hit pay on the total by CC, then they added duty charges. The total was different after they got my CC number, which is actually fraud according to VISA.
They use the ".ca" domain, but its a US company shipping out of California.

Same me happened to me earlier in the year. Shipping was fast tho.
 
I've also had good experiences with canadasmotorcycle
 
Ultimately I didn't buy anything from Motorcycle Superstore (.ca), but almost did. I think you need to ensure your province is chosen in the checkout area to ensure that calculates the tax & duty for you. In the end, I bought what I was looking for from Cycle Gear instead and they've shipped by USPS so hopefully I get lucky on the duty.

By the way, for Canadian websites, don't forget to check out GP Bikes online. Prices on some products are very competitive, even compared to US websites. I've also bought stuff from Canada's Motorcycle and they're pretty good too.
 
I've found gpbikes to be pretty good and most times at the same or a tad cheaper than usa. Also I like the shipping from Ontario vs the two weeks plus wait from the usa.
 
I've purchased from here, canada and go bikes and been happy. Problem is some of these places don't carry items that others do. So you have to go where you can.

One site most people probably don't think of, is Amazon. Amazon in the US not the Canadian site. They have everything and the prices are cheap. I'm lucky because I order from them and send my order to a friend who lives in the US and when he visits he brings my order to me. That way I pay no shipping or duty.

I tried buying a leather jacket from them and they gave me a price..I paid for it but realized later taxes and duties were not in...fine w/e.. It was the weekend, I expected it to be by my place next week.... I check in on monday and it hasn't left their storage...ok w/e I recheck my final price and see it went up by $25

WTF???


I call them and they say since my item has not been shipped it is being charged as per US market price and will continue to be charged that way untill it leaves their storage...the guy actually chuckles and says "may be it will go down before we ship it "... i told them this is ridiculous...he gets upset and says.."don't worry my friend, I will cancel ur order now then!"I say fine ...yes plz!...

Same experience, they know it's a scam and immediately cancel the transaction because they will get into trouble with CC companies.
 
Hmm I was about to buy a Givi tanklock tankbag from them. Anyone know where I can get one of those in Canada? No one seems to carry it. Specifically after the XS307. I was also looking for the Knox Cross knee guards (old style one with straps vs the new one with sleeves/tube-type), and they seem to be one of the only places that still have them.

Just a quick nod to CafeRay in thanks for this post, I almost got pinched by Motorcycle Superstore - they had the helmet I wanted at a better price with 'free shipping'. I'm about to buy a HJC IS-2 open face from Canada's Motorcycle for $88 with free shipping after $69. GP bikes had a great selection, but their free shipping doesn't kick in till $89.

Canada's Motorcycle also lists Bridgestone Trail Wings for my CT70, not something you see on every website.
