Hotel - Motels Kawartha Lakes...Where to Stay??

Can't give you specifics but you are getting close to the Ottawa River and there are some nice spots along there. You could go rafting at OWL but might be too cold yet.
If it's this Friday it looks warmish.
The Friday after ???? check the weather - it's pretty cold still further north due to hang over from a bloody cold winter.

Lindsay would be your best bet. It has several chain hotels with well lit parking lots. You could also search for b&b's in the area.

I stayed at this place fall of 2012...was up there in my cage...loved it. Lake across the street...restaurant onsite...I even went for the luxury room...whirlpool tub..fireplace etc. Just wish I hadn't been by myself..kind of a waste
Reasonably priced as well...I just paid more for a room earlier this week in Sudbury at the Comfort Inn. ( work thing )
