Do some research on the reliability / longevity of aftermarket stators and rectifiers. I had a bad experience with an upgraded rectifier that let out the smoke. I recounted the one unit and it handled the increased wattage from the upgraded stator flawlessly.

+1 In most cases OEM works best.
 
highly doubtful someone would stock that kind of part, especially one for your year/model.

Order and wait...it's not great weather now anyhow, so it's not that bad...
