Hi, so i just bought my first sport bike (2011 gsxr600). And under the seat i found this piece that i have no idea whats its for lol. If anyone know please share :)

Its for propping up the tank when you have it lifted for maintenance and whatnot.
 
Ever put on all your gear only to have an itch you can't reach? Suzuki has you covered ;)

(Also works really well as a tank prop)
 
It is there so when you go camping, you can roast some marshmallows

I have an M4 slip on for that bike if you want to buy it
 
I'll buy it off you for $10 (serious) if you don't plan on doing maintenance yourself. Been using rope the whole time but it's annoying to setup
 
Wow i would have never guessed that, i dont have the owners manual for it, And i think ill keep it :)
If anyone has a owners manual they wanna sell for that bike , ill buy it

Forget the owners manual, you can download the maintenance manual for that bike, a lot more information

google is our friend
