Ok new riders , I believe this is my 3rd ( edit 4th!)year reviving this post.


Free help in Durham region for new riders/riders returning to sport,DID I MENTION ITS FREE??




I have noticed lots of questions regarding basic maintenance tasks on new/used bikes. Most of this is included in the owners manual, but can be confusing.

Meet me at the local coffee shop (Harmony/Taunton Oshawa) and I can show you basic stuff.

WHY WOULD I DO THIS?

DO I DO REPAIRS?

NO! I will show you basic maintenance, I will do minor adjustments ie: chain, lever, clutch.

ANY BIKE?
Yes , I own everything from a HD, to a supermoto, so im not biased

DO I HAVE TO COME AND MEET YOU? (because im not in Durham)

OK, I bit about me, I have been riding for over 35 yrs , I restore my own personal bikes, and do all mechanical work (from oil changes to engine rebuilds). I have everything from a HD to a gsxr to a supermoto.

Im not looking for a date (27yrs with a fantastic woman) a friend (got enough of those) a riding partner( like to ride alone).

I don't have a chain drive wallet, no black leather vest, jailhouse tatts, not on parole, no dungeon in my basement.

My nieces and nephews (adults) say im a cool uncle!

So guys and girls im here to help.

Any chance you can help me do my fork seal replacement? I am lacking specialty tools for a yx600.I'm sure we can get away with some 3/4" ratchet extensions and a PVC pipe though.
