07 suzuki bandit 1250 hesitation

Thought I would post this here and maybe get some advice.I noticed the last few times riding my bike at the upper end of the rpm's bike loses power or more like hesitation for a second then powers back up it is definitely not electrical. It happened only 2-3 times this season and thought nothing of it but today as I was downshifting coming to stop sign the bike totally stalled. It started up right away after the stall and seemed normal.

I had my bike painted over the winter and the gas tank sat for a while with no gas in it for the painting process and when I got the parts back I noticed the beginning of rust in the tank and promptly filled it up.I am thinking maybe injectors gummed or fuel filter clogged.

Anyone have any suggestions????

Hope its not rust blocking your fuel filter.

I had hesitation on my first ride for the season, but that was because I had fuel additive from winter
