my buddy put it in his ttr225, seemed to lower the temp a bit, but to the point where i would say, yes it did lower the temperature (IR gauge used to test temp). however, the second ride after putting it in, the engine blew. now the 225 (used in the XT, TTR, TW, and more) is one of the more reliable engines out there. was it the additive? can't say for sure, but those engines are known to be bulletproof, and the additive was the only change.
 
It doesn't reduce the heat significantly, you're better off with a waterless coolant, radiator fan or both.
