I have this awesome batman tank pad. I got it last year and now I can't find them anywhere.

I was a newbie and put the tank pad to high and now the bottom is peeling?

Is there anyway I can peel the tank pad off and use some kind of adhesive to make the pad sticky again and out it back on the bike?
 
to take it off, heat it up using a hair dryer or something then goo gone the sticky leftovers.

as for putting it back on, there's lots of stuff you can use to make it stick but it will probably be a pain in the *** if you ever want to take it off and it may **** up your tank's surface.
 
After it's removed, paint thinner might renew the adhesive. Otherwise it's probably double sided tape.

that's probably your best bet, I was thinking of some chemical adhesives but its not a good idea to use them.
 
decided to order another tank pad in the same size, glue my old tank pad to the new one and install. Anyone know of a heavy duty glue that works good to glue 2 tank pads together?
