That just reinforces my resolve to avoid rides of more than a few. Good cause but bad results.

"Brakes locked up and about 10 bikers went down"

Seems they need to learn how to ride and leave each other space.

I read the whole article and took a hard look at the picture. I'm against it. I don't see an upside.

Sad situation but I do love the comments sections for articles in US papers. Some keyboards in the US must only come with caps shift permanently employed.

This is why I leave a proper distance between myself and any rider in front of me. On most group rides people seem to leave a bike length at most.

because one of the female bikers was carrying around their favorite bowling ball..

Formation too close and not well-organized. That's another reason why I like to break them up into groups of 5-8, each having a designated leader/sweep and in a proper stagger.

A beach ball? Really?

**** GUYS, THERE ARE YELLOW LINES ON THIS ROAD - BRAKES!

On 99% of group rides ive been on people don't leave enough space. When something happens there is simply no time to react...

This is why every motorcyclist should get offroad experience. If you can't avoid it, you must be willing to go over the rough terrain. :p

I cant get over "lizard lick road" lmfao!!!

Wonder if this has anything to do with that tow company that was on tv. (Lizard lick towing)
