Vstrom owners - clutch basket replacement

I have a '02 DL1000 35K km, runs great but needed to have a new basket installed to cure the infamous ' Chudder' concerns.

It appears that the old basket springs loosened to end up rattled like hell but no other noticeable wear issue, even the basket fingers are near perfect.

So seeking a place to get the springs removed and replaced or welded in place?

Any references are appreciated.

I have a Wee'Strom, so have never suffered from Chudder.

V-Tom might have some input, as he's put around 400,000 km on VStroms. Stromtrooper and the VSRI forum would also have good information for you.
