To all who have 300 and 300 ABS models,

Haven't done my ECU and ABS unit recall correction yet and kawasaki has already initiated the 3rd recall on the 300

Check recall notice:

Non ABS models:

Inspection and adjustment on rear brake clamp

for ABS models:

Inspection and adjustment on rear brake clamp +

Replacement of front ABS sensor lead bracket and bolt.

*This recall is in addition to the ECU and (for ABS models) ABS unit inspection/replacement recalls.

Dammit, any news on if this is specific date ranges only, or is this every bike? mine wasn't affected by either of the other 2 recalls.

Notification is for all 2013 AND 2014 ninja 300 and ninja 300 ABS( EX300ADF/ADFA/AES/AESA, EX300BDF/BDFA/BES/BESA) units

Got a letter in the mail about this last week. If anyone's interested it is recall notice MC-13-05A-1409.

Anyone know of a place around Toronto that will do the service? I'm sure it's been answered 10,000 times before...

great. more recalls mean the bike is safer.

any kawasaki dealer will do it...but it's -30 outside now....so I gotta wait for spring :(

I guess Kawasaki was focusing resources on H2, instead of this little bike ... this is not like typical Kawasaki quality. Caliper interference??? If it was Hyosung, ok, but Kawasaki???

And that's just the last 24 months for just brake issues.

Hyosung is one of the companies without a brake recall.

If you sell barely any units, you don't have recalls .... simple, no?

Secondly, how many of the recalls you have posted are for "brake caliper interference"??? I can't be bothered to read them all, but I am willing to bet, that none for something as fundamental as such. It's a shame, regardless which manufacturer it happens to.

Guys this thread is from last spring. read much?

And someone had a question recently. Why do you care? If you don't want to read the thread..don't.

Let's keep on topic folks...and be civil to each other. Here comes winter.

Well yeah but they are making fun of op based on the weather from last year. I have no problems with bringing up as honest topic but no one even provided an answer to the new question just sassy remarks.
The answer to the new question is yes even used you can bring it to any dealer.

And I noticed a bunch of comments had been removed since I posted mine so yeah...
