Expect to pay in the low 1000s otherwise!

I'm quite surprised about the prices I pay. Figured they'd be much higher than what I'm paying.

Also.. Vintage bikes are the best.. but horrible to find insurance for.

Who's your broker? If I could insure a little runaround bike (like the scooter) for $300/year I'd totally have a new toy!

So essentially it's your dad's bike not yours and I suspect you'll be riding it more frequent that him (if he will ride it). All and all, it's a very nice amount for your age if things go well.

I went through Desjardin(Certas Direct is their Underwriter/name on the slip), scooters/50cc's are fun, and gave me something to drive for 2 ish years until my insurance dropped. Considering I was 16 at the time. Hope this helps you get a new toy :)

Do you have a car insured with them as well?

I've been told that SF doesn't care what license you have and premiums don't go down when going from M2 to M. Is this true?

*** NEWER RIDERS: Must have moto-school certificate to be a candidate...
*** Would have been $921/yr for liability only.
***Last year was with statefarm, 2006 Honda cbr600rr, liability only/bike only, 3400/yr. Bye Bye SS... Couldn't be happier with the DRZ!!!

**** ya! my renewal form just came, my insurance decreased 300$ to 1050
Going to call around since some of you have cheap rates with TD and statefarm

I'm not sure that we will see any lower rates than this! Our age/stats are similar, I just finished shopping around and desjardins was offering minimum 500$ less than anywhere else I contacted.
