Found this on "motorcycle garage sale" on fb last night. 1985 kawasaki 454 Ltd, mint shape, asking $800 obo, located in Cambridge.

During the last year of their production run, and a couple after that here, dealers were selling them for $2000 OTD.
It's a decent price for being in good condition IMO

I believe that is stock, and this is how the bike would have looked new. However I feel reasonably certain those pictures weren't taken yesterday
 
wonder why some people point out the things they do on ads

Has a couple of marks on the right side fairings from a standing drop in the garage.
Bike was safetied in July and had a new front tire and brake lever put on

less can be better

Just the way that year looks from that angle.
 
I'm so glad someone else bought the GS500... I would probably get evicted if I bought a project just because it was cheap
