"Rebuilt title".

No good in Ontario, unless you have a clean titled frame sitting around...

FZ6 in Kirkland Lake has some pretty good slow speed drop damage to the engine cover and side of headlight, of course not mentioned in the ad, but mentioned later on in messages. Sketches me out.

Still trying to convince myself to make the 6 hour drive to Kirkland Lake for that FZ6 from earlier in the thread. Still for sale. Reasonable insurance quote for me considering the power.

Do it! I'm betting they'll take $1800-1900. I've always liked the fz6, seating position is near sumo/dirtbike, feels natural to me.

He actually wouldn't go lower than $2100, I offered 2k because of my gas on my f150.

Then he told me about the damage to the side and I said I would pass for that price.

I like the seating position too. I feel like I would like the bike a lot. And sub $1500 insurance for me @25yo

I believe this is the one brought up in my thread before.. Where it was parked in Markham originally then moved to Kirkland lake.. The whole thing kinda seems sketch especially given he didn't mention the damage in the ad at all and only brought it up after.

Edit: Those exhaust pipes don't look like they'll last much longer either...

Now, regardless of the bike, why should he have to pay for your gas? You bought the truck, suck it up.

If that's how you want to perceive that then fine .... I simply made an offer of where I was at for it to be worth it to me and gave him a reason. Clearly not much interest in the sticks of Ontario considering it's been up a month:)

I guess I could have just said I made an offer of 2k and nothing else, but it really doesn't matter to me.

You should've. People get ****** off when the potential buyer starts bringing up their traveling cost and other expenses. No one cares!
Just make an offer, you don't need to justify it. It's better that way.

Noted, thanks. Not exactly an expert negotiator.

Nah, if the guy is in a dead market and can't move it, then not being worth the travel does become a factor. So if somebody feels like asking a seller to make it worth the time and fuel, what is wrong with that? Want to sell it today or not?

I got an 2004 FZ6 from a friend of mine. He owned it since he was 16. It has around 75000kms on it now. It runs well and is a nice upgrade from my Ninja 650r.

I bought mine with a friend discount of $1500. That beat up 2006 should go for around the same.
