That's a shame. Carb was dialed in on this one. Single push no choke and clean idle.
Carbs just need to be kept clean and it's no biggie.

How do you keep carbs cleaned?

High octane fuel?

The KTM I owned had a perfect carb, one of the best fueled bikes I've riden. Didn't need the choke either. In 3 years of ownership and 10k km's I didn't have to touch it once.

On the flip side, my first bike, a Yamaha Radian had terrible carbs. No one could get them running 100%.

Bike is home safe and sound. First time meeting a GTAM member and the bar has been set high. Couldn't have gone smoother. Jeremy is a good dude.

yes indeed

Number one, regular use. Number two, never let it sit for more than a month with gas that contains ethanol. Number three, always fill with ethanol free before storage.
That's it. No magic.
I have owned in the range of 100 or so bikes in my life. A grand total of two were fuel injected. I have actually had to remove and clean carbs three times, that's it, and all three times were from poor storage habits of the previous owner.
That fuelling on those bandits is spot on, no trouble with carbs on those whatsoever.

Good price on a low k bike, and it's fuel injected!
