I rode through a blizzard today for about 2 hours. My windshield was a thick mess of slush and I was thankful someone thought of putting a wiper on my gloves. Last night I rode through a blizzard for about an hour and decided to get a motel instead of riding another 5 hours to get home.

At lower elevations, the riding was fantastic, but at higher elevations it was really unpredictable. After this weather front passes, the weather looks great for this weekend and beyond. No rain in sight...

That sucks - glad you were able to get off the road.
 
So Kentucky it is - so far. Left at 9:30 and if it hadn't taken an hour to get across the border and 1 1 /2 hours to get across Cincinnati I probably would be close enough to still boot down to Tennessee. As it stands I'm in Georgetown, KY about 30 minutes north of Lexington. Hit some rain on the 401 but nothing bad and weather turned gorgeous just after Dayton. Except for the crawl around Cincinnati I enjoyed the ride :)
