I'm looking to change out the muffler or system on my 2001 wr250f, id like to hear what other people have done. I've read of people putting yz250 pipes on the wr and swapping out the exhaust cam from a '03 wr to eliminate the de-compression lever and starting ritual. Any one have any experiences?

Exhaust cam from a 2003 YZf will work also gas tank and rear fender.WR exhaust is quiet and spark arrested ,why do you want to change? Are you tracking the WR?Here is a picture of a 2002 WR with YZ parts.

I pretty much just trail ride the bike but I've owned it for about 5 years now and thought it would be fun to change it up a little.
