Don't know if u solved your issue yet. I was having the same issues. Anyway bought and installed s powercommander 5 from motomummy. Flat spot is gone in 4th gear. Noticeable difference in all gears, I'm really impressed and that's just with a map from their website.

Check your kickstand switch

As it turns out it appears to have been the butterfly valve as I am still running the original exhaust.

I disconnected the EXCVA Servo and have not had any issues so far this year.

I do have the FI light on all the time but just making sure it was the issue before I fix that issue.

It was stupid of suzuki to make it part of the exhaust as I am not pay 1200 to replace the valve. They should have made it a separate piece as I also want to keep the original exhaust.

Oh well..
