Launches the 2013 Riding Season

January 23, 2013- As motorcyclists eagerly await the start of the 2013 motorcycle riding season, the Toronto International Motorcycle SPRINGSHOW prepares to be the Show that launches the season by bringing riders together for a weekend of motorcycle culture, gear shopping, bench racing, and bike ogling as well as being a social event for riders of all types. This year's dates are March 16 & 17, now expanded into four halls of the Toronto International Centre.

This latest expansion means larger displays of the New 2013 model motorcycles including touring and cruising bikes, street bikes, offroad bikes, scooters, production customs and more. There will be great deals on non-current models too. The giant Used Bike Clearance Sale is bigger and better this year for those who are looking to upgrade or shopping for their first bike.

The SPRINGSHOW also aims to introduce motorcycling to new riders and offers those new to the sport information on Rider Training programs, licensing and Insurance. Wondering about the best bike for you and proper riding gear? Vendors will be offering great advice on getting started.

Showgoers can check out features such as electroplating demos, Leather Fashion Shows by Terez Leathers, and racer autograph sessions. With riding season right around the corner, shopping for all the great bargains on helmets, boots, gloves and riding apparel becomes the most popular activity.

The Vintage 'Bikes of the Century' Display will feature significant bikes from invited clubs & private owners as well as Vincent Motorcycles from the Bar Hodgson Collection including the debut of the rare and legendary Egli-Vincent "Black Panther".

The Showbike Builders Competition features top customs competing for over $20,000 in cash and awards. From vintage and touring bikes, to street bikes and wild customs there are over 30 classes in the competition with $5,000 going to the "Best Bike in Show". The Builders Class entries have been consistently stepping up their game each year since new judging standards have been set by chief judge, Bob McKay and his team. Wild creations from some of Canada's top builders and shops will be vying for the top prize.
