Thanks Boots.

Agree about the zombies. They are just the background, it's about peoples' interaction when the rules/authority are gone. I didn't like that a particular character was killed off, but that's life in the apocalypse.

To me the zombies are essentially weather. I just don't find the story compelling anymore. It's murder porn.

I gave up on it halfway through last season and had thought about doing so far earlier. There's only so much unrelenting negativity I can take in my "entertainment."

I'm starting to feel the same way. It's been a great show but I'm not getting anything new out of it so it's pretty much just a downer now. I'll have to see how this season goes.

Westworld I am loving so far!

Banshee was 4 seasons of gratuitous violence and sex with very little to believe in terms of plot or story line. And I loved it. It started well. Kept it going and ended just as it should.

It's ridiculous and makes no apologies for being so. It actually embraces it and laughs at itself at times.

If Stallone did tv 20 years ago, he would have starred in this. But, it would never air due to the nudity, language and violence. If you enjoy stylistic and choreographed fight sequences, blood etc. This will not disappoint.

It's mind numbingly good.

Anyone watched Channel Zero: Candle Cove? Pretty interesting weird mini series.

I think this series of TWD is set to be a great story. The group is arguably at its lowest point for a long time now and revenge must be on their minds. The bad guy this time is extremely bad though.

I'm liking Westworld too. The way it's developing is great.

I really hope Westworld doesn't pull a Lost and become a wishy-washy Jesus-nut type of thing.

Haven't watched the latest episode yet but I'm as fascinated as ever. Oh and Thandie Newton is a total MILF.

Had it in the PVR and finished watching it. Definitely good, and well reviewed. It was a 6 episode mini-story, and a second separate 6 episode story coming. This first one was filmed in Selkirk (MB), with some interesting Canadian outdoor and small-town scenery, reminding me of similar places I've known.

A creepypasta based show for those on the cutting edge of pop culture. Some of the basic themes reminded me of Stephen King's It.

Thoughts on season finale of Westworld? Can they keep it fresh for season 2?

Did you see the end credits scene? If not, your welcome, now that you know there is one.

It's a good series. Sometime predicable but, even when you think you know, there still are little surprises.

It's well done. Hoping they can make the next season as intriguing without going too far off the rails. Not sure how they keep the journey going, keeping it interesting etc.

Definitely one of my all time favs.

Looks like Westworld is going to be completely different next season. I agree it's really well done, but I'm still wary because of the JJ Abrams association. LOST was such a fiasco, and Westworld uses a lot of the same narrative gimmicks.

Lost started out OK, but I figured out where they 'really' were about halfway through season 1. Wasn't worth watching beyond that for me.

For my money, Westworld played it smarter.

The next season will be out 2018. They're taking their time writing this and HBO is giving Lisa Joy and Johnathan Nolan all the time they need. Westworld. Is just what they needed with GoT to be done soon. Highest ratings of a finale they've had since GoT broke records.

So many possibilities and directions they can go in. The performances have been top notch, let's hope they can continue.

Finally sat down to watch the National Geographic Channel's "Mars." Very good. Seems a reasonable representation of what a mission to Mars might be like, though the first episode is a virtual commercial for Elon Musk.
