CLASS DESCRITION:The Black Cat pub True King of the Street Series is a class opened to street legal bikes ONLY. This class does not allow wheelie bars, slicks, slider clutches or ANY power additives with a maximum wheelbase of 67 inches.

The Black Cat pub True King of the Street is a series of 6 events run at Toronto Motorsports Park along side the OSCA which hosts some of the fastest cars on the planet.

At each event riders are tracked by a point system that could make them the next KING OF THE STREET champion. All events will be held in a 2 day competition, qualifying on Saturday with elimination on Sunday. The class is an all-run field and will utilize a .400 pro tree.

2012 RULEBOOK

FORMAT: The King of the Street Series is a heads-up class contested on a quarter mile and utilizing a pro .400 pro tree. The class will qualify a 8-16 bike field and place them on a pro ladder.

POINTS: This class will be a points class at all OSCA events.

OEM Factory Stock Parts. “OEM factory stock” means that the parts must have been original equipped on the year, make and model as indicated by the VIN*. Any racer that exploits any gray areas in the rules or attempts to debate the legality of parts with creative rule interpretation will have the parts in question deemed illegal. All racers need to construct their bikes within the spirit of the rules.

FRAME: OEM factory stock frame must be used and cannot be modified in any way. VIN numbers must be on the frame and readable. OEM factory stock sub-frame must be used and cannot be modified unless otherwise noted. Powder coating, painting and polishing of frame or sub-frame permitted. Aftermarket “inner fenders” can be used for more tire clearance.

SWINGARMS: Swingarm-style rear suspension required. Any stock, modified stock swingarms will be allowed with a maximum wheelbase of 67 inches.

BODY: OEM Factory stock upper fairing and side fairings are require. Side fairing may be trimmed for ground clearance, clutch covers and exhaust clearance only. Aftermarket extended tail sections are permitted. All bodywork must be in stock location. Upper fairing bracket must remain stock and unmodified.

GAS TANKS: OEM factory stock gas tank is required and dimensions cannot be modified in any way.

LIGHTS: OEM factory stock headlight system( including low and high beam) is required and cannot be modified. OEM stock rear brake light is also required.

ENGINE: Any internal engine modifications are allowed. Engine swaps from different years are permitted but must bolt into stock unaltered frame. Aftermarket blocks are prohibited , dry sumps are prohibited. Aftermarket oil pans are permitted. The minimum ground clearance is 2 inches.

CLUTCHES: Slider clutches are prohibited. Lock-up clutches are permitted, clutch baskets, slave cylinders and pressure plates may be switched between different year motorcycles. Billet clutch baskets and inner hubs are permitted.

CHARGING SYSTEMS: OEM factory charging system is required. They must be functional and operational at all times during qualifying and eliminations.

COOLING SYSTEM: OEM Factory radiators is required. Radiators may be modified or shortened to allow proper tire clearance. Oil coolers and heat exchangers may be removed.

FUEL INJECTION: All entrants must have been originally equipped with fuel injection.

THROTTLE BODIES: OEM throttle bodies are required for that year of motorcycle depicted by VIN number. Throttle body modification are limited to boring to a larger size and injector bore modification to accommodate larger aftermarket injectors. Aftermarket throttle plates are permitted. Secondary throttle plates may be removed.

FUEL SYSTEMS: aftermarket fuel pumps, regulators, filters, fuel lines and fuel rails are permitted.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS: OEM Engine management systems (ECU) maybe be either factory or aftermarket units.

ELECTRICAL: Air shifters, shift lights, engine kill boxes, multiple fuel injector controllers and ignition timing control boxes are permitted. Two steps and auto shifters are prohibited.

EXHAUSTS: Any type of exhaust is permitted.

TIRES: Front tires on all bikes must be Z rated and DOT approved. Any DOT rear tire is approved.

FRONT SUSPENTION: OEM factory stock bearings/races, lower triple clamp, axle, axle hardware ,wheel spacers and forks required ( none of these parts may be swapped with different year and model motorcycles). Aftermarket top clamps are permitted but must retain stock offset. Forks may be internally %lowered, cut , revalved and shortened. A minimum of 1inch front suspension travel is recommended. Front end lowering straps are permitted.

REAR SUSPENSION: Aftermarket shocks and linkages may be used. Aftermarket dogbones are permitted.

ALL OLDER CARBURATED BIKES WILL BE PERMITED TO RUN AN AFTERMARKET BLOCK with a MAXIMUM cc of 1529. But must be able to follow all other rules that apply to newer style bikes.

GENERAL SAFETY: All riders must have full leathers. All riders must have snell 95 or higher full face helmets with shield, leather cloves and shoes that cover the ankles are mandatory. Tether kill switches are required on all entrants. Kill switches when activated must disable ignition and fuel pumps.

Yes i will be racing this class it's right up my alley, heads up cut a good light and run it out the back door.......

Osca at st Thomas? Is in only run to the 1/8th? Or full 1/4

I know anything remotely fast was only being run to the 1/8th
 
Ok guys here is the way the payouts for The Black Cat's class will work $200.00 to enter each event

This is based on an 8 bike field
1rst place will get $1800
2nd place will get $800
3rd place will get $400

On a 16 bike field
1rst place $2000
2nd place $800
3rd place $400

joe,is it 200$ at the gate,or gate fee plus 200$ to osca? and is that bike rider and one crew,or just rider?

The $200 will be for the Black cat series and that goes 100% back to the payouts what they charge at the door goes towards TMP can't do nothing about that ... Sorry
