We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

And why I'm leaning toward an H&K for my next purchase. Still, for what you pay for that name anything short of perfection wouldn't be acceptable.

Still having a hard time swallowing the fact that it's 3X the price of pretty much everything else in 556 :(

Shot one of those at the Niagara Gun Range, smoothest I have shot yet. The list includes: HK SL8, FN F2000, AK47, M16 (full auto), Colt 9mm full auto AR and a few others I forget. Not too extensive but still, great gun.

Does the Niagara gun range have fully auto guns?

Just realized that I never posted a picture. Yeah, I know, it got a good cleaning and oiling AFTER the shot was taken

Nope, M16 was in Alabama, Colt 9mm Auto AR was in south Florida. They even had an MP5, P90, and a silenced Colt 9mm AR at the Florida range :)

Nothing new this year other than a .22 pistol I picked up for a cheap plinker over the winter. So new I haven't even named her yet :)

Crappy cell phone pics.

With Ruger Super red Hawk .454 Casull Magnum. Sold my Taurus and got this which is a far better cowboy gun (for me anyway).

Bullet comparison. Slightly larger .454 on right :)

Did you sell the T3 as well???

Or just the 10BA?

I don't know how anyone could part with a T3 after shooting one... My buddy has a 7mm T3 that I shot before I bought mine and it too is one sweet freakin shot.
I used the fancy trigger thing once, but the factory 3lb pull is light and smooth enough for me. There's no creep, as soon as you pull 3lb it explodes. Love it!

Almost got me excited there

I tried to buy a MKIII tons of times, always watched for used ones coming up for sale, etc. Nobody would ever part with one, no matter how much money I threw at them!

Yes both are gone. I had to downsize my collection from 20 to 7 after moving into an apartment. I decided to only keep the most useful and practical. Both the Savage 10BA and Tikka T3 were extremely accurate and well made, but I spend more time in the field than on the range. As I take extremely good care of my toys, I made two different buyers very happy! I really miss the T3 Sporter and might buy another in the future. Not a huge fan of the Savage Accutrigger!

The only other gun I regret selling was my all-stainless Marlin 1895 guide gun chambered in 45-70. Now that was a handy little rifle that packed a serious punch with hot loaded 405 grain bullets!
