HF trailer Review/Advise.

So I went to the states. 2 of the 3 HF didnt even have any. The one in Niagara Falls had 4. $399 on sale for $299. After the downloaded 20% off coupon I paid $264.19 out the door. Border didn't care what I bought, they just wanted their tax paid.

Trailers without a 17-digit VIN = inadmissible.
Regardless of what plates are on the trailer, building one in a HF parking lot then towing it back to Canada = Importing a trailer

Importing a trailer + NO VIN = Dead end.
 
I imported trailer parts and registered a home built trailer. No problem at all and no vin.
