According to several riders, the stock tires should be good after first 200 kms. The other day i dropped my bike while cornering but i blame lack of my judgment. Anyhow, i took my gf's 08 cbr600rr, i was able to do fast cornering/leaning. Tires were gripping fine, and no problems at all. She is running Michelin tires with 2500kms on.
ps. Good afternoon,

I'd like to start off by saying thank you to everyone who came to the CBR125R Race Weekend at Mosport. We had a great turnout at the track and the bands were unbelievable. Good times were had by all !!! Hope to see everyone there again next year !

Over the past few months, Honda Canada has been thinking up a couple of different CBR125R events that would be carried out in the fall. We've concluded that September is one of the best times to put on such an event.

What we've been considering is an advanced rider training segment (conducted by Learning Curves Foundation), a variety of obstacles courses (fun skills challenges), a BBQ and refreshments, lots of cool giveaways and possibly the launch of a new step up model from the CBR125R!!! This would be the place to get the scoop on what is coming for 2010, as well as take advantage of an on-site motorcycle mechanic (from Parkway Honda) to help answer any concerns you may have about basic motorcycle maintenance.The location would be in North York, and the timing around mid September. What I would like to do is gauge the interest in an activity like this and get your responses post on this forum so a discussion can take place. We're committed to providing a safe yet exciting environment on our activities.
**In order to participate, you need a CBR125R. Also, with a CBR125R you have the option of bringing ONE guest.

Honda Canada will be bringing out the new 2010 CBR125R for those who are interested in checking it out. They are also expected to bring several other bikes from their current line-up to take a look at and hopefully the bike intended to be a step-up from the weebr without going to a CBR600RR.

EVERYONE is invited but those who show up on their 125R's will be catered too for prime parking and choice of bikes to play on.

There will be a free rider training course provided by Learning Curves to those who are interested in sharpening their skills.

Just had a problem with a C.A. integrated tail light and was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue.I have owned three of these and two were faulty.The first was an 04 R1 and it would intermittantly stop working on half the board for running lights.fixed that one with a little solder and a wire(cracked circuit board) the most recent is on my 07 R1 and it was having the same issue.Pulled it apart and found the problem which was a transistor improperly soldered on one pin.Resoldered the pin and it is working fine again.except for the three hours that I just spent removing the light from the bike,diagnosing/repairing the problem and putting it all back together. Now I tryed contacting Clear Alternatives numerous times and got not so much as a response from them.Has anyone else had problem with this companys products or trying to get them to replace/correct their sub-standard products. Out of the 4 bikes (including mine) in my building, 2 were stolen last night at 4am. Mine is heavily looked with an alarm and *other* safety devices :D, the other one is also well locked; the two stolen ones had no alarms or any kind of looking chain or device.

Good News is:

They have the thieves on camera
They have some good facial shots
They have a license of the van (not to relevant as it can be stolen)

So with the facial shots, I believe the police have something to go by. It seems that one of the individuals has been recognized. Sorry don't know any more details so far.

I figure I would give you guys this little bit of news.

I went out for a smoke break in the front of my office (center driveway where my bike is parked). I then go back in, sit down to continue working. Not even a minute later, my co-worker walks in and (came back from a lunch break) said there's a Ford F-150 just peeled away from the driveway as he was parking in on of the other driveways. The security guard was out side also. Went to see the security guard to see what was up. He said he saw a white Ford F-150 drive in one of the driveways (we have 3), circled around then slowly drove out and passed the building earlier. He though nothing about it. But as soon as I walked in from my smoke break he saw the same Ford F-150 back up into our driveway. Our driveway is at least 4 car lengths long. He was backed in and was 1 car length away from my bike with the tail gate down. I always park right beside the front entrance in clear view for the guard. He thought it was strange that there's a pick up truck backing up on our driveway at this time of the night. As soon as he walked out to see who it was, the truck shifts into drive and peels off. I think my security guard might have possibly saved my bike from being jacked. Too bad he couldn't get plates though. I think it might be time to crank my prox sensors higher for a little while.
