How many buddies? We get a room for 4 or 5 of us and it runs us about 20-30 each. Shoot a PM to The Last Boyscout. He's the one that usually books the accomodations for us when we go.

Just be sure to stop at Carol & Earls for breakfast or super. Best food on the island. It's on the left past the first gas station as soon as you get off the boat!

    My uncles cottage?
Just kidding I highly doubt he'd let you, but there's plenty of cabins you can rent. How many people, and for how many nights?

Just 1 night. Plan to ride Toronto to Tobermory leaving Toronto early Saturday a.m. Ferry across at 1:30 and stay on the island for the night. Sunday plan to head down Espanola, Parry Sound way back to Toronto. Is this enough time for this ride? Obviously we will be missing all the great sites a longer timeframe would allow but hey a good final boot of the season.

There are just 3 of us. Any good spots?

Make SURE you make reservations for the 3 of you for the ferry!

You'll have lots of time - I'm guessing you'll be doing about 500-600km a day max, which is easily possible.

Sorry, can't recommend any accommodations, as I've only stayed at my uncles cottage. But I would suggest hitting Southwood Road 13 on your way back. (Bala to Gravenhurst) AWESOME road!

My buddy and I stayed at the Buckhorn motel, its right past Carol & Earl's, on the right side of hwy 6 about 5 minutes up. I think it was something like $80 for the night, and they made up some pretty amazing muffins and fresh coffee the next morning. I've also stayed in the Alta Vista Motel which is right at hwy 6 and hwy 17, just north of Espanola. I believe that was $75 for the night.

They do supply ropes to tie off your bike.
