New girl rider hollaaa from Thornhill !!

Hey Everybody!!

So I finally am legit to do my official introduction....
Been on GTAM for a while now reading everything possible, been craving to get a bike for over a year and a half .... And I finallly got my lil baby Black Honda CBR 125 '08 this monday!!!

My name is Victoria, I'm 19 yrs old and im from Thronhill area. Currently have my G1, M2, did my licence this summer trough Humber College.
As the season is almost over I thought I'm just gonna get my insurance and plates done next year, but I still have an itch to take it out for more than a spin around my little neighbourhood streets .... Lol even had ideas of borrowing someone's plates

Loving my little baby its so much fun and very easy to learn on, and even though the first thing that ppl say when they see it is "omg so cute!", it has enough sharpness to fool em for one of the bigger boys =P just yesterday washed and polished the hell out of it, and guys Plastic X is the bomb. (use for plastic headlights to remove scratches and polish it out).
I still have a lil work to do on it- need to buy new resistors for the turn signals cuz they dont flicker (the guy moded the stock signals to flush and messed up the wiring) and buy a new clutch, and when i ride it around now and then it gives me a squealing sound, like either the brakes or the wheel is rubbing against smth metal, so I also need to get that checked out (or if u guys know anything about it plz help)

Already had a couple of embarrasing moments with stalling lol butt over all im super happy!

Congratulations Victoria. Sharp lookin' scoot.
Unless the bike has a lot of kms on it, or it was ridden by a complete doofus, it shouldn't be needing a new clutch, or brakes - but squealing metal is never good, so get it checked out.
Lose the thought about borrowing plates, too. If something was to happen (what are the chances??) and it was discovered that you were riding an uninsured and unplated bike on public roads - you'd get your "stalled lol butt" handed to you and your subsequent insurance premiums would be ugly.
Check out getting insurance now. There's less than a couple of months left in the riding season and the insurance companies pro-rate the premiums to reflect this - perhaps it would be affordable, now. Plus, it adds a year to your insurance history.

Welcome! The rubbing sound may just be from the brakes. Since the bike isn't getting driven much it may just be the corrosion on the brakes rubbing off when it's moved.
Still lots of riding this season though!
