wrong street on speeding ticket

my wife got a ticket today for speeding on carville ave but yet the officer wrote 16th ave is this grounds for the ticket being dropped ?

any advice on how to continue ?

btw i always fight no matter what !

Technically yeah, but the cop will swear on a stack that he caught her on the 16th. He goes by his notes. Just get the disclosure and there may still be a discrepancy.

Im not sure where the ticket was issued. But 16 th ave turns into Carrville Rd just west of Yonge up to Bathurst and then turns into Ruhtherford RD.

she got booked on carville after the school in the dip cop was chilling at the little white house very well known trap but ticket states 16th and avenue which dont meet.

I think im going to setup a first attendance with the crown and see what he says. I think she maybe lucky anybody disagree ?

I wouldn't disclose that to the prosecutor. That can easily be ammended.

Carrville Rd. is effectively 16th Ave., which meets Avenue Rd. If the cop had been travelling in the opposite direction, then he might well have written Rutherford instead. A JP won't even blink at that.
