I'm in and might bring a couple other friends, just trying to confirm if they're available. So it looks like it will be on the weekend of the 19th...?

My lucky day! The wife gave me an out on the family reunion so I booked the chalet fro Fri night, Sat night, checkout Sunday am.

Chalets has 2 bedrooms. Each has a queen bed. Also one bedroom has a single cot.
Couch has 2 recliners built in.
After that, it's sleeping bags on the floor.

Ride to Olean Friday night, and get bunked in.
    Ride all day Saturday.
Back to Chalet Sat night, have fire, watch movieson 50" tv, etc etc.
Sun, pack up. Ride home. Some can go directly home, or some can ride with me the roundabout way, arriving back in GTA around 9 pmish.

..That's 7......Some people better bring sleeping bags for the floor,LOL

Anyone who would prefer to tent, by all means, there's space outside. And we can throw a rock from chalet into the Allegheny River too. Gorgeous spot.

-I willupdate as riders want in.

    Re: Pennsylvania, late Sept

To be clear, this chalet is an A-frame style cottage, with all the amenities of home, except internet access. It is in the boonies, middle of nowhere type of thing, on the shores of the Allegheny River. If you were hoping to hang out at bars and pick up chicks, this location won't be to your liking. It'll be a sausage fest.

So with 7 of us, it'll be about $25 US per guy for the whole wknd.
How's that for a cheap stay!!

Chalet is about a 4-5 minute ride off the paved road into the woods on dirt path. From the entrance to town is about 5 minutes one way to Olean and 5 minutes the other way to Porterville.

Leadfoot and I are meeting Fri Sep 18th at the 403/Casablanca rest stop in Grimsby, at 4:00-4:30 pm.
We are both working that day so cannot leave sooner.

It'll take a 3 hrs to get from Casablanca Blvd/403 to the Chalet just outside of Olean NY.

I'm no longer +1 and I was going to bail early on Friday so I probably meet up with you guys in Grimsby and head down.

Omni, you're going to run the route(s) in your GPS?

Ya. I will input your route that you posted, and a few others that can be run as day trips out of the chalet. If one route looks better to some of us than others, then by all mean, each one can go his own way. I will happily make a few routes.

By all means Brad..you can ride down to the Chalet with Leadfoot and I.

    Hey there guys!

Not sure if I have met any of you... but was wondering if there is still a spot open??? I'm really interested in exploring Penn but am a little weary of going alone. I have traveled alot and don't mind camping out on the floor with my mat! I am available to leave any time as I'm on vacation for 3 weeks starting Monday the 14th.

Please let me know if i can join you!

    Re: Pennsylvania, late Sept

Brad had one guy drop out so you can have his spot.
Just so you know there isn't bedspace for eveyrone. I don't mind switching off with someone for one of the nights.

Note: Do not forget your passport or Enhanced Driver's Licence, or possibly Nexus Pass. Otherwise the border will refuse you entry to the USA, and you willbe riding home alone.
