Best wishes to Father and son for a speedy and complete recovery.
Hope this turns out of the good.
RIP Rider, Get well soon Passenger.
To all whom are concerned:
Thank you all for the well wishes for my brother and nephew. My nephew is recovering at his grandparents home, but my bro is still in critical condition. He is getting somewhat better than when he 1st arrived. I will try to post an update weekly for all those concerned. Thanks again.

Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery for both the rider and his son.
hey DT - best wishes to both for a complete recovery. I ride 2up with my boys all the time and I hope your brother and nephew get to do it again in the future although it may be hard to overcome this.
Good to hear both survived and that your nephew is already out of the hospital. I initially posted this because I ride 2-up with my eight year old and the craziness on the roads makes me worry sometimes...it struck a nerve. Best wishes at continued recovery for them both!
...Then one day you realise your 'knight in shining armour' is just a retard in tinfoil.
My prayers for son and Dad R.I.P
