What is Baptiste Lake Rd South like for looping back to 648?

After getting to Maynooth on ELR/ Peterson, I usually have lunch and then return on ELR/ Peterson or go to Bancroft and start heading home.

Has anyone used Baptiste Rd South to loop back to 648? http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

What is the road like?

I have not been on that road, but i just checked it out and it seems like it is worth checking out. Looks to be a bit straight, but Google maps can be a bit deceiving... The road that runs parallel to that but to the south ('townline rd.') looks to have some good turns on it...There are so many good roads up there... just waiting to be discovered.

I'm not sure, but I have a funny feeling that at least the portion of that road that intersects Peterson Road is gravel. I don't recall seeing any paved cross-roads between Loop Road and Maynooth.

I thought his road did not intersect with Peterson Rd, but rather connected #62 South (at Birds Creek) with Loop Rd (#648 at Highland Grove).

Does it not go from Birds Creek to Highland Grove?

Yes does connect Birds Creek to Higland. Just looking for an alternate loop back to 648.
