    Thumbs up B.C. the beautiful

Just got back from 3 weeks in BC.
    Great roads, scenery, people.
Speed limits moved up 10K on all roads since last time.
Very little RCMP presence in country, respect them in and close to town.
Also did northern Washington, Idaho, Montana.
They tend to pave secondary roads, and keep speed limits high.
60 to 70 mph in the twisties, OH YEAH!
    Again, great scenery, great people.

Found lots of switch back's and steep mountain roads!

Thumbs up Re: B.C. the beautiful

Why did you post those pictures?
Now i want to go back right away, i miss it soooo much already.
The osoyoos road is now 100km/h, gotta love those switch backs at that speed! Best part no speed traps outside of town.
Northern Washington, Idaho, and Montanna was great fun also.
I love coming out of the forest and hitting desert, it's such an amazing contrast.
    The scenery, wildlife is spectaculor!

I ride in BC a lot. Stick to the small roads in the south and Kootenay area and you will never be bored!! Also, many in that area are of the freedom-hippy mindset which makes the area like one big post card. No big chain stores or restaurants. Mostly all mom-pop places with great character and awesome food.
If it weren't for winter I would live out there.

If you need a destination/event to draw you there come out for the KGB (Kootenay Gut Buster) show at Toad Rock Motorcycle campground
    http://www.kgbcomedy.com/
We just wrapped up our 4th year and are making plans for the 5th annual one to make it even better. It will be the second week in August.
Anytime you are in the area pop in to Toad Rock
    http://www.toadrockcampground.com/
Mary will treat you like family
Also, just a short ride away is Riders Ranch
    http://www.ridersranch.ca/
Cindy and Mark will be happy to make your stay great too.
Campgrounds dedicated to those who ride. What else do you want?
