A Hamilton rider died on the 401 at the scene last night after moving over to an exit ramp and changed his mind at last minute, swerved to go back on the highway and hit the center crash bariers.

I can only assume that he thought it was the exit for the 403 and swerved back onto the 401 at the last second.

Senior Dies In Motorcycle Crash

The OPP is investigating after a 68-year-old Hamilton man was killed when he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle on the 401.
Police say at about 1am Saturday, the driver of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was exiting the westbound lanes of Hwy 401 at Carlingview Dr. when he crossed over the paved shoulder to bet back onto the highway. It appears at that point, he lost control and struck the crash barrier.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified.

Yes... RIP... I was there when the traffic started to pile up.. I exited Carlingview, and the ambulance just got there witht he police, I saw the body on the floor still as the paramedics pulled up... i honestly felt a tear well up inside my eye when i saw it was a rider... cuz he wasn't moving when we took the exit...
