hi, anyone know off hand the procedure for cam chain adjustment on a 2004 CRF80?
DEMOCRACY - NOT PLUTOCRACY www.globalresearch.ca
Tensioners are usually spring loaded and self-adjust to take up small amounts of slack.
There should be a tensioner on the side with a release bolt in the center of the tensioner. Release the tension, remove the two bolts and pull it out. there's usually a slot to insert a cotter pin to hold back tension, then install the tensioner and remove the cotter pin and it'll push against the chain.
