Going from an Ontario license to a Quebec license

Hi all,

I have a hot date with the SAAQ Laval tomorrow morning. I'm so nervous I can't sleep. I'm getting my Quebec license and I only have an M2... they have stricter regulations here and I may end up losing my "riding alone" privileges. They asked I book an appoint to "negotiate my license" so an officer can determine the class I should have. Which means they can make me re-do my schooling if they so wish.

Their class that's equivalent to an M2 requires that you only ride accompanied by someone who's had their full license for at least 2 years. Leaves you sort of in a bind when you just moved to a new city and don't know anyone.

On the up side, I may qualify for my full license faster which means I have to purchase a bike like... yesterday.

Can't sleep Has anyone gone through this process? I realize this is GTA motorcycle but I can't think of anywhere else to post.
