Riding in New York

I am leaving for New York State (Ellenville) on Sunday August 2nd and will be spending a few days in the area. I have half a day available each day that I am there, if you are familiar with the area or something along the way that is worth making a detour for please let me know.

There looks to be a lot of different mountain roads in the immediate area so I will be asking locals when I get there for some recommendations but if anyone has suggestions it would be greatly apppreciated.

Definitely give yourself a tour through Catskill State Park. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for the tip, the whole area turned out to be beautiful. I was working in the afternoons and had 4 hours each morning to ride. Found soem great small mountain roads. Everywhere I turned was fun although gravel made a few of them a little hairy in the corners. Overall a great week!
