It's quite surprising that no one started flaming yet...but that just might be for the best.

I also won't have a bike until next year (financial reasons) but I've already passed my M1exit course at Humber (which I really recommend you to take from any company you want both for insurance discounts and skills...).
For 250s keep in mind that they got a make-over recently so if you want the new look, you need the new bike =)
How old is too old? Hard to tell...some 20 year old bikes might be better than 5 year old bikes, it all depends on how its taken care of. Used, you want to look for low mileage, absense of collisions, when/where/how often it was maintained.

Nope G1 im getting in a week, G2 Im going to go through peters driving school which is cheap and easy and right after next year getting my M1 and M2.

19 Year old girl missing, last seen heading off into sunset down the DVP on the back of an overburdoned Ninja 250 driven by a cackling maniac wearing a T-shirt and flip flops, age unknown but probably male judging from macho helmet.
