Rider Killed at McCowan/Denison

RIP fellow rider.

Really really close to home. I now know why the denison was blocked last night, and why everyone on the street stared at me when I rode by.

I haven't been on this forum in like 3 years since my almost fatal motorcycle accident and it brought back memories when I drove by the accident scene yesterday. I live like like 2 blocks away from where it happened and saw the traffic building up on Denison so I figured I'd drive by to see what happened. I thought someone had gotten hit by and car but later found out it was a Motorcycle accident.

While I was driving by I saw the victim in the stretcher trying to be revived by the EMS and paramedic guys. They were trying to pump his chest while wheeling him in from the sidewalk to the ambulance. I guess they were giving him CPR and stuff. But it was pretty sad to hear eventually that the rider passed away when I checked the new on CP24 later that night.

I took a snap shot of the picture on my blackberry while I was driving by, I'll see if I can try and post it later.

I use to live near that corner (Coppard / Denison).

Not to guess at the cause of the riders accident but I crashed at that spot coming westbound a long time ago, Denison has the illusion that it is a straight road, as soon as you hit that intersection the road jets to the left about 20-30 degrees. Someone not fully aware could misjudge the need to turn.

Just found out this was someone we had hire recently as a supervisor in our toyota location. Boss came in to tell me this morning.

just found out about the accident half hour ago, it's on cp24 now

i ventured out of my home and there were cars parked everywhere along the curb along with some cops, i heard crying and thus put the scenarios together

As Most of you are aware that A fellow Rider passed away on Denison St on July 20,2009. The family has request fellow riders to escort him to the cremation ground as riding was his passion and what he loved the most. I would like to ask all riders to help my friends and I to fulfill my late friend’s passion. We request all riders to wear full gear at all time. This would be my and few others last ride.
