The 9th annual get together is being put together!

The date will be Sunday, September 13 2009
Now this should give everyone some time to mark their callendars or tell me about an event I've missed.
Last year we had almost 100 bikes make the trek up to Midland for a fabulous day of ridin & eatin! Let's try to brake all records and really annoy my neighbors!

Start point- Elmvale zoo www.elmvalejunglezoo.com leaving at 11am sharpish

The ride- Gas stop 20K's from zoo, then a ride around Georgian bay up to Awenda and down Penetanguishene bay into Midland.

The grub- Back to my place for a BBQ with salads and all kinds of good eats, you're hostess the amazing Fozzy and Sam the wonder poodle will be there to greet everyone!

After party- Many folks head up to the big chute or some muskoka roads after, hook up and enjoy the day!

Criteria- Bring you're bike and a smile!

Please rsvp this thread or me with any questions and help to give me a working number about how much food I'm gonna need.

Guess what? My local pastor wants to bless our bikes! That's right, you heard me right.... The Revern Catherine Barley will attend to offer us a little extra insurance on these crazy roads. Her husband Jeff is somewhere in the western part of the continent on a bike tour and she's flying out tomorow to hook up with him in Vancouver! Hope she rides back with him!

Well, Fozzy is in BBQ mode and has been having a hoot filing up her stocking with "Fozzy Prizes"! Here's a clue to getting in her good graces when prize time comes around....
1- Tell her how clean and lovely her house is!
2- Tell her she's a saint for putting up with me!
3- Mention her new shower curtain... chick thing....
4- Pat the dog, but no treats for the little critter!
Won't be long now folks!

Hey, it's just over a week away now!!! And the weather is looking good on the long range, it never rains on my BBQ's after all...
Things are taking shape, menu is set and chairs are being borrowed from all my patient and understanding neighbors.
Please respond if you are comming by Wednesday. September 8 to make sure I have enough food to feed "a bunch of bikers"

Check the weather for this weekend? Gonna be a beauty!
Right now I'm sitting at about 110 guests expected and going shopping soon, so please let me know if you're comming! Last year we had enough food, but ran out of potato salad at the end ( I'm famous for my potato salad )
Start points are listed from Peterborough and hwy 9 & 27, some will be gathering in Newmarket as well. Make your plans and let us know!

That's fairly customary. While bringing cash isn't a requirement, Aminal and Fozzy aren't millionaires and every little bit helps
